“Getting the Dream Deal--a Writer's Journey”

Penguin Books has just released Ottawa writer Peggy Blair’s debut novel, The Beggar's Opera to favourable reviews in The National Post, The Ottawa Citizen, Quill & Quire, and more.

Peggy shares the story of a journey to publication that took five years, 150 agent rejections, several manuscript drafts, and a fortunate encounter in a bar!

PWAC Ottawa hosts an author's perspective on what it takes to find an agent and publisher in 2012.
